The primary responsibility of the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce is to improve the economic environment for member businesses by fostering the development of business growth and prosperity. Community Development: The Scotts Valley Chamber is one of the charter sponsors of Leadership Santa Cruz. Immediate Information: Via broadcast faxing and email we can alert you to warnings from government agencies and other sources that will protect you from fraudulent practices, to alert you of legislative information that may affect your business, or to notify you of international contracts available when we are contacted.

International Trade: Access to vital information to move your business into international markets through exporting and importing. We will provide Certificates of Origin to members who are exporters. There is no charge for this valuable service to members. Non-member price is $20.

Small Business Counseling: Don't wait for crisis to happen in your business, if you see indicators that concern you, remember that you have direct access to free confidential counseling from highly experienced retired business executives through SCORE. They are also available to those of you thinking of going into business. Our staff will schedule a private appointment for you to meet with a SCORE representative at the Chamber office.

Your Information Center: The Chamber maintains relocation packets, new business startup kits and employer/employee information on a wide variety of subjects. Preparation of these kits can be customized and there may be a charge for materials that we must purchase. Information includes demographics community information, local publications, maps, area events, dining, and entertainment locations. These are distributed to tourists, new residents, business visitors on your behalf, and we answer hundreds of mail and telephone inquiries each month. Make sure that we have complete information on you and your company.

Scotts Valley Chamber Web Site: The New and Improved Chamber's Web Site can link directly with your own, via our complete listing of all Chamber members by type of business or alphabetically. You will also find web links that we feel are of benefit to you, your organization and family. Promotional banners are available. Time sensitive coupon specials can be offered at a nominal charge.
